This application is an extension of the pc_met Internet Service offered by the Deutscher Wetterdienst and, in its latest iteration, encompasses various sections of its extensive product lineup:

 <li>GAFOR Germany displayed on a map</li>
 <li>METAR and TAF reports including single reports, proximity search, and routing details</li>
 <li>Meteograms for aerodromes across Europe, categorized as IFR, VFR, and for gliding purposes</li>
 <li>Cross Sections designed for IFR, VFR, and gliding flights within Europe</li>
 <li>Weather warnings consisting of:
 <ul>
 <li>Aerodrome weather warnings for selected airports in Germany</li>
 <li>GAFOR area warnings providing aviation weather alerts within GAFOR zones in Germany</li>
 <li>SIGMET alerts signaling potentially hazardous weather phenomena in the lower and upper Flight Information Regions (FIR/UIR) across Germany</li>
 </ul>
 </li>
 <li>Low Level SWC information specific to Germany</li>
 <li>High-resolution RADAR data displaying a composite map of Europe</li>
 <li>Lightning information covering Europe</li>
 <li>Satellite imagery for Europe</li>
 <li>Real-time weather observations represented on a map (featuring visibility, ceiling, wind speed, and weather conditions)</li>
 <li>A three-day forecast report tailored to areas within Germany (available only in German)</li>
 <li>Forecast models from WAWFOR (World Aviation Weather Forecast) based on the DWD ICON-EU forecast model detailing the European region with a forecast window of up to +48 hours. The map offers detailed parameters such as:

The DWD FlugWetter-App is exclusively accessible to members of the closed user group “Aviation/pc_met Internet Service” and can only be utilized in conjunction with a pc_met Internet Service license, which carries associated fees. Utmost discretion is required when using the login and password provided by the pc_met Internet Service at www.flugwetter.de as access credentials.
